Church Planting Minister (CPM) in RCCG EUROPE Continental Mission
 

Preamble: The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a foremost Evangelical/Pentecostal Missionary Christian Church fellowship with presence in nearly two hundred countries globally, founded seventy years ago (in 1952).The church  is presently searching for young, energetic and Holy Spirit- filled believers and ministers to pioneer new parishes in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. This is in line with the current RCCG outreach and growth aspirations The right candidates must have the desire to serve in the vineyard of the Lord and have strong passion to help people of the continent discover and serve God’s kingdom agenda of peace, prosperity and harmony. RCCG Europe Continent covers the Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and all of the Mainland European countries with a total of 16 RCCG Regions. 

  

Terms of Reference/Key Elements for Church Planting Minister Position 

  

The scope of your responsibilities in this position is as follows:
 

• Ready to pioneer a new parish in any part of the Netherlands or Europe Mainland as the Pastor-in-charge of parish with minimal supervision. 

• Focus on soul winning and discipleship activities to win converts for The Lord through the new parish and nurture them as disciples to stable workers of the Church. 

• Target youths and young adults through campus evangelism and focused youth programmes, such as concerts, films and drama, career discussions, entrepreneurships, sports, etc.

• Networking and integrating with socio-cultural groups in the community and other Church denominations with compatible doctrines with the RCCG. 

• Play active roles in all Area, Zonal, Provincial, National and Regional RCCG Mission Programmes and contribute to their success.  

• Mobile and ready to relocate to pioneer another RCCG Parish or take over an existing Parish as may be necessary for growth.  

• Communicate issues, challenges and progress with his/her line supervisors on regular basis and submit timely monthly reports in the standard template. 

• Be conscious of the reputation of the RCCG as a global evangelical/Pentecostal Missionary Church by maintaining peace and harmony within the Church and with the neighbourhood. 

• And also ability to disciple others and train them as Church Planting workers and ministers to sustain the work. 

 

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in science/art/social sciences or a higher diploma in theology from the RCCG or any other recognised Theology Institution. In addition, must be: 

·       A born again child of God, with sound knowledge of the Holy Bible. 

• Preferably an ordained minister of God in RCCG or another respected Pentecostal Church with compatible doctrine. 

• Has served as pastor of a Church before or held leadership positions for a minimum of 3 years or has been a seasoned worker in the Church for at least 5 years. 

• A teacher of the word, with good knowledge of pastoral ethics. 

• A European citizen or valid work permit holder except in very special cases. 

• Ability to speak Dutch or willingness to learn Dutch on fast-track. 

  

Salary and Conditions of Service: Attractive, but negotiable based on current competence and delivery.The successful candidate would be sponsored through the European RCCG School of Mission (SOM) for induction purposes.

Continental Programs Officer (CPO) (Published Jan. 24, 2023)

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Europe Continental Office offers the position of Continental Programs Officer (CPO)

As CPO, you will serve as the arrowhead for communications for the RCCG Europe Continental Mission. You will have the opportunity to contribute towards the enhancement of servicesprovided by the continental headquarters. You will be directly responsible for all reporting matters for the continental office, the management of regional and continental events and programs, as well as the provision of administrative support for the continental office where necessary.

Essential requirements:

•  5+ years of experience in a programs, professional or administrative role;

•  Born-again member and worker of the Redeemed Christian Church of God;

•  Resident in The Netherlands with full rights to the Dutch labour market (valid Permit to Work)

•  University degree or similar; Masters is an advantage.

•  Strong analytical/problem solving skills;

•  Flexible self-starter who can work independently and with other team members.;

•  Experience with programs/project management;

•  Excellent written and verbal English language skills.

High Level Key Responsibilities:

•  Manage and coordinate continental/regional/provincial events, programs and activities;

•  Maintain and prepare parish/regional/continental reports;

•  Communications management at parish, regional and continental levels;

•  Secretarial and administrative support for the Continental Overseer

•  Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

About the job:

The position is full-time (40 hrs /week) in Amsterdam, Netherlands and initially for a period of one year, with the option of extension afterwards.
