Report:  2020 Ladies Conference, RCCG

Europe Mainland Region 1

The theme of the conference was “A Mother in the Land: The Woman of Now”

We thank God for the opportunity to meet again as Ladies of RCCG EMR1 this year. The Lord did a lot of great and mighty things in His church in the last year. In addition, many testimonies came from last year’s conference for which we are grateful to God.

The conference starts as usual with the leaders’ meeting on Thursday evening. The leaders meeting lasted till Friday afternoon. The purpose was to review the activities of the past year, to exhort and encourage ourselves. The leaders  also plan and equip themselves for the coming year. The general conference started on Friday night the 21st and continued till Saturday 22nd of February 2020 at RCCG House of wonders, Amsterdam. It started at 17:00 0n Friday with the arrival and registration and ended at 21:55. The attendance on Friday was approximately 80. On Saturday it started at 8:50 with arrival, registration and intercession and ended at 15:45 with the closing prayer and with an attendance of about 130.

The guest speaker in the person of Pastor (Mrs) Rachael Odesola, wife of AGO Personnel and Admin, who came from Nigeria ministered on the following topics:

  • The components of the woman of now (Esther as a case study) – text 1 Peter 2:10

  • The woman of now; restored, renewed and revived (Ruth and the woman of Samaria being the case studies)- text: Ruth 1:4-5, 4: 13-17, & Jn 4: 28-30

Besides the ministrations by the guest speaker, there where talks presented by other ministers in the region. Also, there was a symposium presented by two pastors after which there was a question and answer session from the teachings. The titles of the symposium teachings were.

  • Mothers and Children, spiritual and educational aspects (by Pastor Helena Nwosu - Netherlands) and

  • Surviving in a foreign land (by Pastor Olayemi Taiwo – Austria)

There was a drama presented by the Nederland drama team and song ministration by the France women. Both were highly anointed and ministered to the needs of the people.

To the glory of God, this year we had attendance from seven countries unlike the past few years where we had attendance from three or four countries. We believe it will continue to get better and better in Jesus’ name. We captured attendees from the various countries and the various units in group photographs taken on Saturday afternoon.

Some of the departments were supported by men such as the technical and music departments. The Lord provided for all our needs for the conference for which we are very grateful to God Almighty.

We believe that the ladies went back to their various countries challenged to run the race more keenly and more steadfastly than before. We pray god helps us to continue to support one another even beyond the conference. Attached to this report are some photographs of the conference.
